We have immense pleasure in inviting you to the 6th International Conference of The Telemedicine Society of India (Telemedicon’10) to be held at Bhubaneswar, Orissa, India from 14th to 16th November 2010.
The conference will feature presentations on successful national & international case studies, experiences of Indian telemedicine projects, research activities, scope of distance education in health sciences, achievements in telecommunication innovation applied to medical fields and several other issues relating to project implementation in developing countries.
The first day program will lay emphasis on educating students and young professionals in telemedicine technology & its application in offering e-health solutions. Students, researchers, policy makers & tele-health solution providers will get an opportunity to sit face-to face for sharing of aspirations, research benefits & experiences. Sessions on other two days will focus on telemedicine application in rehabilitation, tele-health practice for public health & chronic disease management, distance education for healthcare professionals using telemedicine & advanced educational technology like VR and simulation ,state and national e-health Policy, ethical issues, implementation issues, image transfer, e-health informatics & home care.
What is more special about Telemedicon’10 is that it will be organized at Bhubaneswar- the temple city of India. Bhubaneswar is an emerging IT hub and one of the fastest developing cities of India offering tourist attraction in the form of classical odissi dance, handicrafts, sand artistry, sculpturing as well as theatre and music.
The organizing committee hopes to make Telemedinon’10 a memorable event for all.
